옴니아HD의 Geotagging 기능

얼마전 삼성 옴니아HD (일명 Samsung i8910) 의 긴 영문 리뷰를 우리말로 번역하여  소개한 바  있다. 

동영상까지 포함한 깨알 같이 쓴 장장 6페이지에 달하는 리뷰였지만 어디에도 이 스마트폰이 지오태깅(Geotagging) 기능이 있다는 이야기는 읽은 기억이 없다.  다시 그 리뷰에 들어가 혹시나 내가 읽기를 빠뜨린 것은 아닌지 확인해 보려고 이페이지에서 찾기를 하며 확인작업을 했으나 찾지 못했다. 

geo-tagging 은 핸드폰 사진 촬영시 위치정보를 사진에 기록하는 기법이다.  핸드폰의 새로운 기능으로 GPS 신호를 수신할 수 있는 스마트폰에 추가하게 된 아주 최신 Add-on 이다. 

리뷰어가 관심이 없거나 무엇인지 모르면 언급을 하지 않을 것이다.  아니 할 수 없을 것이다. 

지난 일요일(24일) 영국 핸폰 리뷰 사이트 에 이 삼성옴니아HD (일명 Samsung i8910) 에 이 기능이 있다는 사실을 밝히고 있어 여기 소개한다.
